Sebago Lake is a perfect landscape for exploring inlets and coves, swimming at the crystal clear beaches and islands, and paddling new clean kayaks, paddle boards and canoes along the bends and twists of the streams and shoreline.

Embarking from the Sebago Trails Store (1311 Roosevelt Trail) ensures plenty of parking, places to use the restrooms and change, stock up on refreshments and most importantly, access the water with our handy EZ floating kayak launch!

A tailored experience from our private launch site with a professional guide who will help develop kayaking skills, introduce you to the area, and show you a slice of Maine, all dedicated to just your party.

We usually start by introducing your party to the general area and provide orientation for Sebago Lake and Panther Run. We’ll then help everyone get safely on the water using our simple floating EZ Launch system and provide some brief instruction about kayaking, such as proper paddle strokes and how to maneuver.

With that out of the way, we’ll proceed up Panther Run for a bit, exploring the scenery and enjoying the wildlife, navigating through its winding waterways against a light current. We’ll then make our way back down, navigate through a marina, and out onto Sebago Lake itself with a ton of history to talk about and broad, beautiful views to take in.

Looking for a new perspective to see the vibrant colors of fall? Join us on this leaf-peeping kayak outing! This fun and relaxing way to get out and enjoy the hues of autumn.

After a brief paddling demonstration lead by a Registered Maine Guide, this outing will begin at the historical Gambo Dam and meander upstream of the Presumpscot River. You will be able to appreciate the quiet sounds of nature as the birds overhead continue south for the winter, fish surface for a snack and the vivid colors pop off the glassy stream.

This adventure will continue to the renowned Covered Bridge for a perfect photo opportunity. On the return, the guide will share stories about the immense impact this river had on shaping the Sebago Lakes region in its infancy.

Kayak through the natural Maine wilderness and vast lake views for an on the water adventure. This two hour guided tour will begin with a safety briefing and lesson covering the fundamentals of recreational kayaking.

Using the EZ launching system at Sebago Trails Paddling, the tour will explore the water-carved bends and twists of a meandering stream, unveiling local wildlife in a rustic backdrop. Then, it will continue onto Jordan Bay of Sebago Lake as the guides share stories dating back to the settlements of the region.
