With over 30 years of local knowledge and experience, we can set up an adventure to your group’s specific interests and needs. Sebago Lake is a perfect landscape for exploring inlets and coves, swimming at the crystal clear beaches and islands, and paddling new clean kayaks, paddle boards and canoes along the bends and twists of the streams and shoreline.

Embarking from the Sebago Trails Store (1311 Roosevelt Trail)  ensures plenty of parking, places to use the restrooms and change, stock up on refreshments and most importantly, access the water with our handy EZ floating kayak launch!

Our most popular Custom Experiences

2 – 4 hour Sebago Lake Explorer – Choose between a guided outing or explore on your own. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boards are available to explore Sebago Lake and all the streams, coves, islands and beaches! Sebago Trails staff will set your group up with life jackets, paddles, provide essential paddling skill to all participants and safely launch your party with our handy EZ Kayak Launch! Then explore the lake on your own or have a guide lead the way!

2 Hour Sunset Tour by Kayak – Take part in this fun and relaxing adventure, in the midst of a natural Maine setting. This two-hour tour explores the water-carved bends and twists of a meandering stream unveiling local wildlife in a rustic backdrop. This tour will continue on to Jordan Bay of Sebago Lake as you paddle alongside lakeside cottages, boats, and man made canals. Here, you will get a panoramic view of the sun as it sets behind the trees. Along the way the Registered Maine Guide will share local stories that make the scene come alive! This outing requires no previous experience and will be an easy and relaxed paddle.

2 Hour Scenic Sebago Lake Historical Tour – Kayak through the natural Maine wilderness and vast lake views for an on the water adventure. This two hour guided tour will begin with a safety briefing and lesson covering the fundamentals of recreational kayaking. Using the EZ launching system at Sebago Trails Paddling, the tour will explore the water-carved bends and twists of a meandering stream unveiling local wildlife in a rustic backdrop. Then continue onto Jordan Bay of Sebago Lake as the guides share stories dating back to the settlements of the region. 

Rental with Delivery – Planning an event in the Lakes Region – wedding, reunion, corporate event? We can deliver a mix of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards to Sebago Lake State Park group sites, your AirBnb, or a public venue for your custom group event. All rentals come with plenty of life jackets, paddles and accessories to fit your group. Delivery includes an on land lesson and safety demonstration for the entire party.

He can relate to many people of all ages, and really knew how to have everyone enjoy their time on this beautiful adventure. Definitely would visit again. Bachelorette party

We had a group of 11 for a bachelorette party and Sebago Trails was so accommodating while we were dealing with a storm passing by. They waited and started an hour later, and the guides were totally awesome. No experience necessary- the dock to get into the water was super easy - and the trail was totally beautiful. My only complaint was that I wish we could have spent more time out there!! Absolutely wonderful.

Large group outing

They accommodated about 20 of us in single and double kayaks, and paddle boards. It's a short walk to the river, which leads to the lake. We got our rentals and headed out. We paddled, stopped at rocks and swam, took pix, paddled some more. We saw some wildlife, birds, ducks, turtles. We rented for four hours, but we were done after two. The staff worked together well. The shop has sales for everything lake related. There is an outdoor changing "room" and a port-a-potty. Plenty of parking. A 15 minute drive from Naples where we were staying.
